Alison Lynne Ward

In this hysterically funny and honest one-woman show, Alison Lynne Ward sums up what millions of twenty somethings are thinking and feeling everyday. The pressure “to be amazing before 30″ and live up to the high expectations we set for ourselves is completely impractical, and only sets us up for disappointment. Ward strikes just the right balance between boldness and fragility, whimsy and frustration. The piece is impeccably well written and entirely relatable. Who hasn’t hated their day job, been rejected by love or tried to reinvent themselves with a new ring tone? 1/4 Life Crisis is on until July 11th at the Annex Theatre (736 Bathurst Street at The Randolph Centre for the Arts).
